Japanese Robes

What is the name of the robes Japanese Emperors wore?

I'm doing a report on how the dress of Japanese Emperors have changed over time, but I'm not exactly sure what their outfits were called, so I'm having a lot of difficulty researching it. I tried looking up what they were called with no success. please help mee :) thanks!

2. I am certainly no expert. I do know their robes are called "kimonos", but unsure of Emporer's clothing. I found a site for you, but there is no link to the owner. Interesting info, though. Good luck.
