Japanese Robes

What are some ideas how to dress up as a geisha or samurai girl? I have purple japanese robe and umbrella?

Not a komono. I havent seen anyone dress like that so im not goin to go all out or anything just want it to look nice . I think I could do the makeoup and my mom has chop sticks to put in my hair IM not sure what else .

1. Hit up you tube and check out some of the makeup gurus looks for halloween and geisha! You should get some great ideas on how to style your own hair (french twist like style with a kick) and how to apply your makeup (lightening up your foundation and eyeshadow and eyeliner looks) Have fun and enjoy!
2. Is the robe you have a Kimono? Or the underclothes for armor? If you want to go Samurai you're going to need a lot more than just a purple robe, armor, helmet, weapons. Your hair will have to be perfect so you can take the helmet off and still look good.
